This presentation will provide an overview of the 2028 shift in Specific Learning Disability eligibility guidelines, provide an overview of the Last Mile project (an OSPI funded partnership with the University of Washington Bothell), and offer action steps for districts to take in preparation for the upcoming change in eligibility guidelines including access to the Last Mile RtI Implementation Rubric. A Last Mile district administrator partner will also offer insights into this work from the district perspective.
