Inclusion and MTSS are often framed as separate initiatives. In this session, we explore their interconnectedness as the foundation of strong tier 1 structures and systems promotes rigorous and meaningful inclusive practices for all learners. Lowell’s commitments to centering multilingual learners and students with IEPs drives: the creative and strategic use of adults in flexible service delivery, embedding SDI in the general education setting, and building and sustaining collaborative structures.
